IBA is a student gateway at Mays Business School to international learning and facilitates inter-cultural exchanges among students. Membership applications are open to all majors, as we cater to all Aggies who share a common enthusiasm for internationalism.
Howdy! I am Ramon Aguilar, a Supply Chain Management major from Richardson Texas. I am originally from Mexico and I wished there was a group like IBA that I could join when I arrived here at the age of 12. That’s what motivated me to join IBA, because I would like to provide the support and guidance I did not have. Also I like meeting people with different perspectives and backgrounds than my own. I can learn from others and they can learn from me. This makes IBA the perfect organization for me.
Hola! My name is Paige Brazina and I’m a junior Marketing major from Kalamazoo, Michigan. I have been to 21 countries thus far and will be studying in Madrid, Spain in the Spring of 2019. In the future, I would like to work for a travel company and go abroad as much as I am able. I love being a part of IBA because it allows me to be surrounded by sincere, tolerant, and hardworking people who strive to think bigger. Each member of IBA brings a different perspective to the table and has a unique view of the world. I love constantly learning from everyone in IBA and I admire the curiosity and open mindedness of the people who are drawn to this organization.
Howdy! I'm Aaron Holle. I am a sophmore from McKinney, Texas and I am currently studying Management of information systems as well as working towards a Spanish minor and international business certificate. From a young age cultures and languages from all over the world have fascinated me. That fascination has driven me to visit South America many times as well as inspired me to study abroad in Barcelona this coming spring. While I have only physically been to a handful of countries, I feel like I've experienced so many new places and cultures thanks to the friends I've met from all over the world in IBA.
Howdy! My name is Madison Mitchell and I’m a junior International Studies major from Canton, TX. I have been traveling outside of the US since I was very young and have grown a passion for exploring other cultures. I grew up in a small town, so traveling has allowed me to grow out of a small-town mindset and grow into a global mindset. I have been involved with IBA for two years now and have built amazing relationships with people all over the world. When I studied abroad in Spain the first time, I was able to visit the friends I made through IBA and have a more personal experience in 4 different countries.
Howdy! My name is Brittney Martin, a Supply Chain Management major and economics minor from Scottsdale, Arizona. Having had the opportunity to travel to countries including China, Malawi, Italy, and Germany to name a few, my love for travel has grown exponentially. I had the chance to live in China for a summer, this greatly increased my understanding of the Mandarin language while allowing me to fully immerse myself in the culture of Asia. I think, opportunities like this shape who we are as people, and that’s exactly what IBA can provide.
