Howdy! My name is Tyler Hill, a finance major and German minor from Scranton, Pennsylvania. After graduating high school, I moved to Germany for approximately one year to play ice hockey and study the German language and culture. This experience sparked a passion for learning about global cultures and how they pertain to the different industries of business. IBA gives me the opportunity to create friendships with other students from around the world, while furthering my appreciation and understanding of international commerce and culture.

Howdy! I’m Sophia Rahimeh- a junior and business management major. I was born in Chicago but grew up in the DFW area. Coming from a diverse background, with my mother being from the Ukraine and my father of Greek/Arabic origin, I've had the opportunity to learn different languages and travel from a young age. I have spent time abroad in countries like France, Spain, Poland, Ukraine, Canada, etc. These exposures to different cultures and languages has allowed me to develop an interest in cross-cultural exchanges and meeting people from all around the world. IBA has provided a great way to connect with others from not only a business standpoint but in creating lasting friendships as well. In the near future, I'm planning to study and work abroad in a French-speaking country!
